Efforts are made to inform members of the campus community on a timely basis about campus crime and crime-related issues. These efforts include the following:
- Daily Crime Log - Public Safety maintains a daily crime log, which is available at our dispatcher's desk.
- Crime Alerts - Crime Alerts are published when a crime occurs on or near campus that potentially threatens the university community. The crime alerts are emailed to the campus community.
- Watch captains post the alerts in resident halls and on security bulletin boards throughout the campus.
Please see the updated (April 2014) How to Report Crimes on Campus for a list of all reportable crimes and for the geographical boundaries of campus.
